Deep Water Bay Beach

Deep Water Bay is located at the south-western part of Hong Kong Island. It is enclosed in a calm bay and is the longest beach in Hong Kong (342 m). In 2014, Deep Water Bay beach is the fifth most popular beach in Hong Kong, with about 520,000 visitors. Due to its popularity, Deep Water Bay is one of the four beaches in Hong Kong which remains open during the non-bathing season. Ocean Park is located to the west of the beach. On the eastern side, the beach is linked to the adjacent Repulse Bay by the Seaview Promenade. The water quality of Deep Water Bay beach is excellent. It receives a ‘Good’ annual water quality ranking in 2014.
