Repulse Bay Beach

Repulse Bay beach is located at the south-western part of Hong Kong Island, and is within a walking distance between Deep Water Bay beach and Middle Bay beach. It is semi-enclosed by a calm bay and is the second longest beach at Hong Kong Island (292 m). Repulse Bay is characterized by a picturesque garden in traditional Chinese style together with two distinctive statues of Kwun Yum and Tin Hau. The hinterland of Repulse Bay beach is favored for luxury apartments and hotels. Repulse Bay beach is probably the most well-known beach in Hong Kong among foreign visitors. It is also the most popular beach in Hong Kong, with a total number of 2.5 million visitors in 2014. The water quality of Repulse Bay beach is excellent. It receives a ‘Good’ annual water quality ranking in 2014.
