Silver Mine Bay Beach

Silver Mine Bay beach is one of the six public beaches on Lantau Island. It is very close to the Mui Wo Ferry Pier within walking distance of about 10 minutes. The beach is enclosed by a bay and the sea condition is usually calm. It is equipped with a beach volleyball court and barbecue site. In 2014, Silver Mine Bay beach is one of the most popular beaches on Lantau Island, with about 120,000 visitors. It receives a ‘Fair’ annual water quality ranking in 2014.
