Fish Culture Zone Description
Sok Kwu Wan (SKW) Fish Culture Zone is located in the semi-enclosed Sok Kwu Wan on the east coast of Lamma Island. Sok Kwu Wan Fish Culture Zone has a long history of mariculture activities and the standing stock was quite high in the 70s-80s. Now, it also has the largest raft for the recreational fishing after the implementing the recreational fishing scheme in 2002. According to the Recreational Fishing Code of Practice, activities that violate the normal mariculture operations, such as cooking, barbecuing, littering, water sports, use of nets or chum bait are prohibited.
